I never met Scott but just by working with him via phone and emails, I could ask for a better person to work with. I am praying that God will give you and your girls strength and comfort during this time of loss. Scott was a good man is helping God.

MCNITT: Scott E. McNitt, age 52, of Jenison, was lifted into the waiting arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 5, 2011, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Pam; daughters whom he adorded, Carli and Hayley; parents, Lynn and Janet McNitt; sisters, Linda (Steve) Champion and Lisa Keane; father-in-law, Perlin Schut; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gerry (Kathy) Schut, Ron (Barb) Schut, Joan (Scott) Anderson, Pat (Joe) Reynolds; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Agnes Schut. Scott worked for many years at Pace Trailer Sales. He was an avid golfer and racquetball player, but what he loved most was spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Fairway Christian Reformed Church, 1165 44th Street, Jenison, with Pastor David Den Haan and Pastor Ed Tamminga officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive. Memorial contributions may be made to Jenison Christian School or Unity Christian High School.Guestbook

My deapest regrets, symphony and pray go out to you, your entire family, and the many friend of Scott. I graduated with Scott and he was then and continued to be truely one of the best persons that I have evey known. I know the loss must be so hard but
I am also sure that knowing that he is with Jesus and you will be reunited some day is a comfort. God Bless
