LUCAS: Harold Lucas, age 84, of Jenison, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 28, 2011. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene Lucas. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Bertha Lucas (Huizinga); children, Linda and Mike Broaddus, Pete and Pam Lucas, Karen and Joe (in glory) Restivo, Donna and Jim Reitsma; grandchildren and great grandchildren, David and Lisa Broaddus (Derek and Collin), Jamie and Nancy Gritter (Hannah Hart and David Hart). Ryan and Micki Pitch (Nicole and Caleb), Jason and Nicole Lucas (Caleb and Kinleigh), Angela Restivo, Thomas Brazzle and Kathy Restivo, Charlyn Reitsma, Cory Reitsma; brothers and sisters-in-law, Art (in glory) and Nell Lucas, Jake and Esther (in glory) Lucas, Bob and Dort (in glory) Lucas; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty and Tom (in glory) Dehaan, Esther and Henry (in glory) Betten, Doris and Jerry (in glory) Pennel, Ada and Harley Rillema, Jackie and Len Albers, Nina (in glory) and Jay (in glory) Hoeksema, Carol and Bob Borst; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday at Twelfth Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 7551 12th Ave., Jenison with Rev. James Evenhouse and Rev. Mark Bennink officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
