Kladder, Ruth Elaine

KLADDER:  Ruth Elaine Kladder, age 83, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2011.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard J. Kladder and her son-in-law, George Vander Ley.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda (Bob) Vander Ley, Mary (John) Hoeksema, John (Chelli) Kladder; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Melvin (Perle) Rosema, Roger (Frances) Rosema; sister-in-law, Arlene (Peter-deceased) Kladder; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr., with Rev. Kent Rottman officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Lee St. CRC. My Grandma was the most wonderful Grandma anyone could ever want. She loved nothing in life more than her family and treasured her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She never once missed a birthday or special occasion with a card in the mail even if
she was going to see you. I have so many great memories of spending time with her on Cleveland Avenue and she went far beyond her role of 'great-grandma' with watching my son while I worked 3 days a week from the time he was born. Even when he was old enough
not to need someone there, she would still come over so that he wouldn't have to be alone. My memories are too many to count and I will keep them with me always. RIP, Grandma, and prayers for all my other family and her friends who will miss her as much as
I will.
