Dear Bob and Family: Something told me to check the obituary section of the Grand Rapids Press this morning. I now live in Benzonia, MI. I saw that Shirley had died and I want to express to you and your loving family my condolences and sympathy. I haven't
seen you in a long time but as your cousin I must say I always loved Shirley and the family. I miss you. May you be surrounded by love and affection from your family at this sad time but know Shirley was a wonderful person. May she be welcomed with joy in
heaven as she joins other family members. My love and sympathy are there with you always. Your first cousin...Terri.

Kris, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think about you and your family when I drive by the old house (which is frequently seeing how I live in Caledonia). I know this is a difficult time for you but she is now at peace and is no longer hurting. God Bless

My beloved friend, gone too soon. You girls, Shirley and Bob remain in my memories as a gift to my being. Shirley, you represented to me the gal who found herself while I was still looking... The "Kelly Family" will always be an important and eventful
part of my life with Shirley as it's center... She was soooo much younger than I ... it's not fair, but what sorrowful events in our lives are fair... Mark says, "Stuff happens". No good explaination of why. See her smile and laughter...her grit and resolve...
her beauty and freckles.. and tell the story of our trips to UP for smelt to this day... love you all, Diana Darling Kranenberg Spees, 1011 Graafschap Road, Holland, MI 49423 616-648-6447 love you...
