Huizenga, Agnes

HUIZENGA:  Agnes Huizenga, age 91, of Hudsonville, went home to her Heavenly Father on June 1, 2011.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Huizenga and grandson, Todd Lemmen.  Agnes was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and was an avid reader.  Agnes will be greatly missed by her children,  Sharon and Raymond Dulyea, Larry and Rose Huizenga, Carrol and Arthur Orton, Marcia and Curt Pollie; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty Norder, Helen Huizenga, and John Groelsema; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive., with Rev. Robert Holwerda officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.

Dear Huizenga Family, Thinking of you at this sad time and offering sympathy to you. We will miss Agnes at Sheldon Meadows and I will miss our little chats as she walked in the halls for her daily exercise. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
