GUERRA-Violet Lawana Guerra, aged 72 of Grandville, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 after a 17 month courageous battle with cancer. Surviving are her sister, Ethel Taylor; her lifelong friend/sister, Mary Coon; her children, Steve (Pam) Patterson, Rick (Patty) Patterson, Mike (Melanie) Taylor, Mitch Taylor, Mark (Missy) Taylor, Melva (Paul) Austin, Mindy (Rene) Ortega, Lisa (Robert) Frank, Cheryl (Javier) Guerra-Flores; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will meet relatives and friends Friday 2-4 & 6-9pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. A special thank you to Lacks Cancer Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lacks Cancer Center.
