DERUITER: Kathleen Ruth DeRuiter, age 87, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; her parents and three sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carol and Dwight Becker, Edward and Kathleen DeRuiter, Cindy and Jeff Gage; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Anne DeRuiter. Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Thursday at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Robert Langenberg officiating. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. and 12-1 pm Thursday at church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries or American Heart Association.
