We, Doris and myself can not express the sorrow that we feel. We have been friends with Rick and Vickie for a number of years. She will be missed by so many people, but she has joined the lord and will be at peace.

Sarah and I are deeply saddened by Vickie's passing. She was such an upbeat and outgoing person. She made my time with the 70th and 8th army units so enjoyable and meaningful. We always got our mission accomplished but had fun along the way. My fondest
memory of Vickie was going to Korea and the bunch of us going out to the Grand Ole Opry bar in Yongsan, singing "I'm proud to be an American" at midnight! So many great memories! Heaven will be such a great place with her spirit there. Our prayers are with
you Rick and your family.

Come With Me THe Lord saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put his arms around you And he Whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer And saw you fade away, Althought we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stop beating, A beautiful smile at rest, God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best. It's lonesome here without you We miss you so each day, Our lives aren't the same Since you went away. When days are sad and lonely, Annd everything
goes wrong, We seem to hear you whisper, Cheer up and carry on. Each time we see your picture, You seem to smile and say Don't cry, I.m in God's keeping, We'll meet again someday. Love you Vickie, Rich and Family My heart is so heavy for you. I will keep you
in my prayers,
Sharron Allen

Rick, you and your family are in our prayers. Vickie is one of the finest Soldiers I have ever served with. She backed that up by being a warm and caring person. I have no doubt that I am better for having the honor of knowing her.

I'm very sorry for your loss! My prayers are with the entire family. I just lost my mom last week to cancer and it has been very hard for our family, but I am certain that like my mom, Vickie is now at peace and walking with the Lord. “This means that
anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone: a new life has begun.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
