Raimondo, Carmela Theresa

RAIMONDO-Carmela Theresa (Papa) Raimondo, aged 93 of Wyoming, peacefully passed away to be with the Lord and her husband of 47 years, Sam on Saturday, November 19, 2011.  She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Surviving are her sons, Sam and Luann Raimondo, David Lee and Jan Raimondo; grandchildren, David Allen (Amanda) Raimondo, Carmen (Troy) Manning; great-grandchildren, Samuel Manning, Celia Raimondo; sisters, Josephine “Josie” (Palmer) Anderson, Catherine “Kay” Occhipinti; many nieces and nephews.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Tuesday at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW.   Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 5-9pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming and Tuesday 10-11am at the church. A Vigil service will be held Monday at 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
