BRUIN-SLOT: Nantje “Nancy” G. Bruin-Slot, age 88, of Jenison. The Lord whispered her name and called her home on Monday, October 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albertus. She leaves to cherish her memory her 4 children, Jenny (Robert) Perez, Jan (Becky)Bruin-Slot, Trudy (Dick) Weber, Joel Bruin-Slot; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Johannas Dijkstra and sister-in-law, Marie Dijkstra of the Netherlands; many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands and the US. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am at Roosevelt Park Community CRC, 811 Chicago Dr., Wyoming, with Rev. Reggie Smith officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Roosevelt Park Community CRC or Faith Hospice.
