BROWN: Marcia K. Brown (Looman), aged 71, of Jenison, God’s Earth Angel, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Dorothy Looman, and her nephew, Wayne Topping. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Richard R. Brown; her children, Scott (Ingrid) Brown, Michelle Brown (Roger) of California, and Lorrae Danzig (Chuck), who affectionately cared for her the past five months in their home, where she peacefully passed. She adored her five grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Cameron, Andrea and Aubrey. She is also survived by her sister and friend Loretta Topping (Jim). Marcia was a caring, loving, selfless and generous person who cherished her family and friends and was just as beautiful on the inside as the outside. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr., with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to her many friends and the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital (Dr. Bruce Shabahang and Dr. Richard Lovy) and Lacks Cancer Center. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lacks Cancer Center. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.Guestbook

Dearest Amanda, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Grandma. Although I never had the pleasure to have met her, I know through you that she was a wonderful woman. I remember how you used to smile and laugh when you described how feisty she sometimes was

Our thoughts and prayes go out to the Brown family. I worked with Rich at Custom Printers and got acquainted with Marsha through there. We (Tracy & Becki) will miss Marsha and were blessed by knowing her. May God comfort you all though this time of grieving.
