BOONE: Norma Boone, age 83, of Byron Center, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 29, 2011. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Fred Kamminga, Al Kamminga and Martha Belding. She will be greatly missed by her husband of almost 64 years, Jay; their children, Daniel and Jennie Boone, Randall S. and Shelly Boone, Douglas and Francine Boone, Kimberly and Richard Bronkema; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Grace Groenveld, Richard Kamminga, Margaret and Al Offringa, Bernie and Henrietta Kamminga; sisters-in-law, Ruth Kamminga, Trudy Kamminga, Donna and Bill Hoven, Viola and Hezard DeJong; brothers-in-law, Russell and Margaret Boone, Debra Boone; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 30 (PLEASE NOTE REVISED DATE) at 7 pm at Southwest Protestant Reformed Church, 4875 Ivanrest (Grandville), with Rev. Arie den Hartog officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Adams Christian School.
