Boerema, Gerald Ralph

BOEREMA:  Gerald Ralph Boerema, age 90, of Byron Center, went to be with his loving Savior on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth; sisters, Gladys Peterson, Shirley Knauss.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Edith; their children, Sharon Boerema, Curtis and Beverly Boerema, Scott and Brenda Boerema; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Zwyghuizen; brother, Raymond and Mildred Boerema; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Arlene and Roy Eckert, Ruth Adamo, Jeanette and Lee Curtis, Laura and Floyd Hettinga, Harold and Esther Johnson; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Friday at Grandville Bible Church, 4122 44th St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. John Kaufield officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
