BLAIN - Donald Blain, aged 97, of Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Kitty; parents, Bert and Effie Blain; brothers and sisters, Laurie, Milan, Sherrill, Laila, Genevieve, Berta, Eleanor, Helen, and Doris. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Mary Anne Magin; niece, Ruth Flannery, along with numerous other nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Carolyn Blain; many special friends, including Larry and Betty Fischer, Bonnie and Ed Elles, and Connie Kindle. Don loved fishing and hunting and was especially “nuts over squirrels”. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
