Berghorst, Grace

BERGHORST:  Grace Berghorst, age 88, of Allendale, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 10, 2011 and now joins her husband, Elmer who preceded her in 2002.  She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tanya Jeurink.   She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jerry and Sharon Berghorst, Shirley and Arnold Veltema, Ruth and Rog Jeurink; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jeremy Berghorst, Joel Berghorst, Shannon Veltema (Samantha, Kara, Lilli), Rick and Lisa Dirkse (Luke and William), Allison and Erik Lynema (Trevor, Emily, and Sophia), Brandon and Heather Jeurink, Stacie and Michael Veldhoff (Ava), Kaylee Jeurink and fiancé Mitchael VanGent; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank Knoper,  Gertrude Berghorst, and Jessie Berghorst.  Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am at First Allendale Christian Reformed Church, 5734 Country View, Allendale, with Rev. Tim Howerzyl and Pastor Phillip Scout officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the First Allendale CRC Benevolent Fund.   Relatives and friends may meet the family 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.
