Jeffery Joe Austhof, age 51, of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 24, 2011 and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alison Paige; father, Earl Austhof; brother, Earl Austhof Jr. Jeff was a loving and giving husband, dad, son and brother who cherished his family. He was a friend to all, always helping others and expecting nothing in return. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Jan (Van Dam); children, Keri, Tamryn, and Lucas Austhof; mother, Crystal Austhof; mother-in-law, Lou Van Dam; brother, Bern and Deb Austhof; sister, LaDonna and Tom Siebelink; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lori and Mark Schreur; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; family friends, Lloyd Baartman, Travis Gerloski. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Monday at Woodhaven Reformed Church, 3959 68th St. SW, Byron Center with Rev. Steve Petroelje officiating. Interment Boynton Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. Those who wish to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the needs of the family.Guestbook
